My silence is meant to be your punishment,
but in reality,
it's more like a reward.
You hurt me,
I go silent.
You don't have to sit and listen
to my nagging voice
or my restless tears.
They say silence is golden.
If that is so,
you must be the richest man alive
for all the times you've hurt me.
